Virtual Set Design

Virtual Set Design

A virtual set (aka, virtual studio) is a television studio that allows the combination of people or other real objects with computer generated environments. It can be used in post production using the latest 3D camera tracking and compositing software or in live environments using real-time solutions from broadcast hardware and software vendors such as Ross Video.

A few of the benefits of Virtual Sets include…

  • The ability to easily use the same studio for multiple productions.
  • The ability to make small studio spaces seem larger.
  • Switch sets at the touch of a button.
